Francesca Romana Allevato paints original portraits of people and animals. She works out of her gallery space in Laguna Beach, California, where people have commissioned her across North America to create one of a kind portraits: everything from capturing dogs and horses to portraits of actors for film/TV, and portraits for people’s homes.
“I’m painting the human race, humanity. I’m drawn to bring humanity back into the picture through my paint, without boundaries, no parameters. Each has their own individual identity.
I use color, layers and texture to capture humanities’ radiance, without association with or identity to the name of the color. Shadows are important as they communicate the part of life hidden from, occasionally defined by, an untrained eye. It is the spirit or essence of that person who shares with the world their unique inner light, a light in darkness, lumen naturæ, traced to the Soul of the world
There are no boundaries or parameters with my portraits,..”
